Valley Park Board of Education Filing Dates Set
Citizens of the Valley Park School District may file as a candidate for election to the Board of Education December 13th – January 16th, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; and on Tuesday, January 17th, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the office of the superintendent, located in the high school building at One Main Street, Valley Park, MO 63088. No filing is possible on legal or school holidays.
Two seats with three-year terms on the Valley Park Board of Education are up for election. Those seats are now held by William Dains and Frank Venturella.
Candidates for director of the Valley Park Board of Education must be at least 24 years old, a U.S. citizen; and a resident taxpayer of the district who has resided in Missouri for one year next preceding election or appointment.
The election will be held on Tuesday, April 3, 2012. The names of the candidates will be placed on the ballot in order of filing. For more information, please call the district’s superintendent’s office at 636-923-3695.
