Welcome to the Web Page of the Valley

If you need to contact us, our information is above.
Tami Daigle
Counselor for grades 1 & 3
Donna Knobbe
Counselor for grades K, 2, 4, & 5
COUNSELING SERVICES
Both counselors provide classroom
guidance lessons to all students. We provide group and
individual counseling to students as needed. Also, both
counselors offer consultation to parents and teachers and are the
liaison for special education students in the grades they serve.
With the help of the guidance secretary Anna Marie Zoghby, we maintain
student records and monitor student attendance.
GUIDANCE LESSONS
The counselors visit the students in
their classrooms to talk about friendship, getting along with others,
study skills, and career information. The lessons presented to
the students fall under the following categories that have been developed by the
Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education: Personal and Social Development, Academic Development, and Career Development.
Guidance classes start after Labor Day and will continue throughout
the school year.
GROUPS
Different types of small groups are
offered to meet the needs of children so they can be successful in
school and develop positive relationships. Some groups are formed for
students who are having difficulties adjusting to divorce or death
of a family member. Other groups concentrate on developing
friendships and social skills. Contact your child's counselor for further
information.
