The office of the Director of Communications:
- Serves as the information liaison between the Valley Park School District and the community at large
- Acts as media liaison for the district and produces news releases
- Plans and promotes events, performances and special programs
- Provides PR counsel and strategic communication assistance to the administration, Board of Education, schools, parent groups, and student groups
- Produces stories, graphics, and videos for internal communications, the district website, and social media accounts
- Produces the district newsletter for print and digital distribution
- Administers the district website and social media accounts
- Administers platforms for district and teacher broadcast messaging (Infinite Campus)
