Dental, Hearing and Vision Screenings

- DENTAL screenings are offered by the Big Smiles Dental organization to all Valley Park students; Pre-Kindergarten through 12th Big Smiles visits our campus twice each school year. Dental forms must be completed prior to a student participating in the clinic. Complete the form on-line by selecting the following link: https://www.myschooldentist.com/VPVPMO_schsrm or contact the VP Health Services Office (636.923.3634) to arrange a form to be sent home for your student(s). Note: One form for each student is required.
- HEARING screenings are performed each year by the Special School District (SSD) for Pre-School, Kindergarten, 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th, 9th & 11th grade students. If your student does not pass their screening, please take them for a follow-up visit with a hearing specialist. After they have been examined, please forward your student’s results to the Health Services Office.
- VISION screenings are provided annually by Kids Vision for Life (KVFL) for grades Kindergarten through 8th students. If your child does not pass their screening; if KVFL determines glasses are needed, they will be provide at no cost to the family.
