The Valley Park Community School is designed as an academic recovery program for students that are behind in credits and may not be eligible to graduate with their class; are at-risk of dropping out of high school; or have already dropped out of high school.  

Community School is designed as a self-paced program. Class work is either textbook or computer based. All work is designed to be completed in class. 

Credit is performance based and is awarded in conjunction with current standards as approved by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. Students who complete the assigned requirements are eligible to participate in the annual high school graduation ceremony.
