Valley Park Gifted Program

  • The Valley Park Gifted Education program serves students in grades 1st-8th. 

     

    Student Resources

  • Middle School Services

     

    Gifted middle school students receive services in place of their CSD class. Curriculum is designed around the four C's: Creativity, Communication, Collaboration, and Critical Thinking. Students meet for 240 minutes per week.

    Elementary Services

    Gifted elementary services are pulled in a grade level class during their scheduled intervention time. Students meet for 30 minutes a day, 150 minutes per week. 

     

  • Within all classes that are offered to students participating in the Valley Park Gifted Education Program, the topics are used as a medium for teaching critical thinking, problem-solving, information gathering, responsibility, and communication skills.  The aforementioned skills are tools that students will be able to use for a lifetime.
