Free and Reduced Meal Information:
The Valley Park School District participates in the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs. This allows families the opportunity to apply for Free and Reduced Price Meal Benefits. Eligibility for the program is based on income and the number of people living in the household.
Applications may be submitted any time during the school year, but families are encouraged to apply as close to the beginning of the school year as possible. Households should submit a new application if income or number of people living in the household changes at any time during the year.
The information provided on the application is confidential and will be used only for the purpose of determining eligibility. The eligibility criteria and application are available for download below. For quicker processing, please be sure to complete the entire application. You may return the signed form to the district's Central Office, your school's office or the Food Services office.
Applications are also available in the Central Office or the office at the school your child attends and can be sent home with your student, if requested.
CAN I APPLY ONLINE? Yes! You are encouraged to complete an online application instead of a paper application if you are able. The online application has the same requirements and will ask you for the same information as the paper application. The online application is located inside your Infinite Campus Parent Portal under “More”, “Meal Benefits”. If you do not have a parent portal, please submit a parent portal request at www.vp.k12.mo.us/portalrequest.
